Boy Better Know will publish the book in October.
Ify Adenuga, the mother of Skepta, JME, Julie and Jason Adenuga, has announced a new memoir. Set for release on 15 October, Endless Fortune will tell the story of how Adenuga went from “penniless student in a foreign country” to “becoming the mother of four of the most successful creatives working in Great Britain today.”
As well as telling Adenuga’s life story, the book will feature stories of the Adenuga children’s upbringing. Writing on her website Ify Adenuga said of the book: “My overall objective here is two-fold. First, is to inform both my children and subsequent grandchildren about my life growing up & how different it is to theirs – an opportunity I missed with my own parents. Second of all, is to recognise and appreciate all diasporas, regardless of where they call home.”
Endless Fortune will be co-published by Boy Better Know and Own It! and is available for pre-order now.
