Actress (Darren Cunningham) has shared a new short film in support of his latest LP Karma & Desire which dropped last week on Ninja Tune.
The 17-minute short is directed by Lee Bootee and features a cast including Actress, Zsela, Yves Tumor, Sampha and Aura T-09.

Cunningham’s last release before Karma & Desire was 2018’s Young Paint, created in collaboration with an AI sprite of the same name. The mini-album was released via his own label Werk_Ltd. Earlier this month, the artist reimagined Karlheinz Stockhausen’s opera Welt-Parlament at London’s Royal Festival Hall, which featured manipulated recordings of UK MPs discussing the topic of love.
