The Hamburg producer appears in the fashion brand’s latest show.
Lemaire debuted its Autumn/Winter 2021 menswear collection yesterday (24 January), and it stars former Crack Magazine cover star Helena Hauff. Hosted over Zoom, the show took place on a dark, shadowy runway. With a focus on layering and construction, Lemaire’s latest collection is in line with its ethos of craftsmanship and low-key luxury. Hauff modelled a look from the collection’s earthy palette, and sported a white shirt turned up at the collar, layered over with a beige garment and overcoat.
The show also featured Kali Malone, Jaakko Eino Kalevi and Vanishing Twin’s Elliott Arndt. Music supervisor Pilooski used Tomaga’s track Rabbits of the Void, taken from the 2019 LP Extended Play 1.
With its beginnings in 1990, the fashion brand is led by founder Christophe Lemaire and co-designer Sarah-Linh Tran. The brand has a strong affiliation with music, having previously selected Helena Hauff, Lena Willikens, Throbbing Gristle and CAN for its fashion show soundtracks.
