Unum Festival unveils line-up for 2021 edition

Ricardo Villalobos, Sonja Moonear, tINI and more have been confirmed for the Albanian festival.

Unum Festival has announced the first wave of artists booked to play its 2021 edition. Among the names confirmed are the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Sonja Moonear, tINI, Seth Troxler and Raresh.

Last month, the festival announced that this year’s edition would be going ahead with the support of the Albanian government. The team behind Unum had undergone “careful discussions” with the Ministry of Tourism and Environment and the Ministry of Health, with the government approving the use of rapid Covid-19 testing for 2021.

This event will 100% take place in a responsible way and Covid secure fashion as it has full government approval, regardless of restrictions in other countries,” Unum said via a press statement.

“So even if it has to become an event for just locals or those able to travel, then this is what will happen. This is thanks to Swallow Events, our partners in this, providing their rapid testing service for the festival to ensure everyone who enters is tested and virus-free beforehand. We are taking all measures required to ensure safety measures are followed at all times and there will be zero tolerance on this matter.

Back in November, we reported that Swallow Events had launched a rapid Covid-19 testing service targeted towards the events industry. The MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency), CE and PHE-approved tests provided as part of the service can offer results in 15 minutes with 96.52% sensitivity and 99.68% specificity.

Unum Festival will take place from 3-7 June. Find more information and grab tickets here.
