Tune into shows from the new residents from 1 March.
BBC Radio 1 has added four new names to its Radio 1 Residency line-up.
Anz, Avalon Emerson, Carl Cox and Carista are the latest artists to take part in its long-running residency series. They’ll join the likes of Joy Orbison, Sherelle, Amelie Lens and DJ EZ, who were recruited as residents back in 2020 (aside from Sherelle, who joined in 2019).

The new residents will join the weekly Radio 1 Residency rotation from 1 March. Two shows are scheduled to run every Sunday night into the early hours of Monday, with a show at 1-2AM GMT and 2-3AM GMT. First up from the new additions is Anz, who makes her debut during the later slot following a show from returning resident Joy Orbison.
