Mugler has released the second part of its Spring/Summer ’21 collection.
The luxury fashion brand debuted the second chapter via a fashion film, directed by TORSO. The show, filmed on a shadowy set created by And Or Forever, features Eartheater and New York performance artist Kembra Pfahler – who’s associated with the Cinema of Transgression. Actress, model and author Dominique Jackson also makes an appearance, along with models Irina Shayk, Omahyra Mota and Bella Hadid – who somersaults along the runway.
The soundtrack, which includes cuts by Shygirl and Eartheater, was created by Total Freedom (aka Ashland Mines). The Miami-based artist posted the soundtrack online with the caption: “skiing down an active volcano at night. full moon. nude except goggles and boots. feeling gay.” Listen below.
Mines is also involved in our Crack Mix 400 project. Launched last week (1 April), the project celebrates clubs and nightlife culture across the world with a series of archive mixes. Cakeshop, a club in Seoul, contributed a 2014 archive mix by Total Freedom. Hit the play button below, and head to the Crack Mix 400 portal to check out the other mixes.
