Vanguard is teaming up with Vans to launch a new exhibition on Bristol creatives and the role they played in UK street art, from the 80s to the present day. Entitled Bristol Street Art: The Evolution of a Global Movement, the exhibition will run from 26 June to 31 October 2021 at M Shed, in Wapping Wharf.

Furthermore, the exhibition will explore the anarchist roots of the movement, and how contemporary artists are using both traditional techniques and modern technologies to raise awareness of environmental and social issues. Vanguard has taken a multidisciplinary approach to the exhibition, which will feature immersive displays alongside sculptures, rare works, photography and film edits from seminal artists.

Exhibition-goers can expect to see photos by Beezer, rare images from the 90s lensed by Matthew Smith, a bronze sculpture by Nick Walker and more.

Tickets are on sale now. Head to Vanguard’s site for further information.
