Vince Staples is dropping his debut graphic novel. The new book is called Limbo Beach and is scheduled for release in December via Z2 comics. Staples is working on Limbo Beach alongside Bryan Edward Hill (Batman & the Outsiders, Titans), Chris Robinson (Children of the Atom) and Buster Moody (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). Take a look at the Limbo Beach cover art in Staples’ Instagram announcement post below.

Limbo Beach is the story of lost children fighting to regain their stolen youth,” says Staples in a statement. “It takes place in a world similar to the one that we all live in, where we are shaped by our experiences and those around us. I appreciate the opportunity to create these stories in a way that I never have before. Hopefully it is the first of many.”

The rapper is releasing a new self-titled album next month via Blacksmith/Motown. The Kenny Beats-produced project features new single Law of Averages.
