Peverelist’s Roll With The Punches is getting a repress

DJ, producer and Livity Sound co-founder Peverelist has announced a repress of Roll With The Punches, one of the most influential dubstep tracks of all time.

The track was first released in 2007 with B-side Die Brücke and went on to become one of the defining tracks of Bristol’s dubstep era. In 2017, a decade after its release, Roll With The Punches was sampled on a track by Drake.

Represses will be released via Peverelist’s Punch Drunk imprint, with pre-orders expected to ship mid-August. The repress announcement landed on Bandcamp earlier today (9 July).

Peverelist’s last full-length, Tessellations, dropped in 2017. In our review of the album, we said: “Peverelist is arguably the lynchpin of Bristol’s electronic music scene. As a mentor who has inspired others, over the years he’s almost acted like a centrifuge, fostering a vibrant and creative community of producers.”

Last year, Peverelist jumped aboard crackaud.io with an exclusive mix recorded live at Patterns of Perception. Listen back below.
