Playboi Carti has mysteriously teased a new project entitled Narcissist, and it’s dropping on 13 September. The Atlanta rapper hasn’t revealed any information as to what the project is, but took to Instagram to share images of layered outfits – featuring helmets, hoodies and jackets. There’s also an image of a mannequin in a room with sewing machine tables. Check out the announcement below.

In his Collections cover story, published in May, the rapper spoke about venturing into different fields. “At a certain point, I would like to be doing other things,” he said. “I’ll always be into music, but I just want to give out and show the world everything I’m capable of while I have that spotlight on me. I just want to take advantage of everything and then when it’s time to lay down, it’s time to lay down.”
Carti’s last full-length release was 2020’s Whole Lotta Red. He features on Abra’s recently released comeback single, Unlock It.
