Snail Mail has shared a new track.
Entitled Adore You, the lo-fi song is an early demo version of 2021’s Valentine, which served as the lead and title track off of her latest album. The artist, real name Lindsay Jordan, released Adore You today (14 February) in honour of Valentine’s Day. Both its lyrics and song structure differ from the studio version of Valentine.
Jordan released her Valentine LP in November 2021. We caught up with her ahead of its release. At the time, she revealed that the album demos were far rawer than the finalised songs. “I’m sure they’ll be out eventually,” she said. “But they’re almost not listenable because they’re just so sad.”
