SHAPE+ Platform announces open call for artists

Applications for SHAPE+ are open to emerging artists now.

New European project SHAPE+ builds on the previous SHAPE Platform programme, supporting innovative music and audiovisual art. The project will run for the next three years. The criteria to join SHAPE+’s roster is artists must be committed to social and environmental awareness with their work. The platform will use greener forms of transport where possible. Those chosen to participate will also take part in artist residencies, connecting with local communities and audiences as well accessing artist meet-ups.

SHAPE+ currently consists of 13 organisations across Europe including Unsound Festival, Terraforma, Intonal and Berlin’s CTM Fesival. In previous years, SHAPE has supported artists such as KMRU, Peach, Giant Swan, Aïsha Devi, Anna Meredith and Lyra Pramuk.
