33EMYBW and Gooooose designed the sound for the exhibition.
Weirdcore held his first solo exhibition, Orient Flux, at SKP-S shopping centre in Beijing toward the end of 2020. The exhibition featured seven audiovisual installations and was themed around the concept of a train station from the future.
Today (1 March) SVBKVLT has announced the release of Trans-Aeon Express – the same name of the illusory bullet train that exhibition-goers were invited to board at the end of the exhibition. The album is a continuation of the project, featuring the music and sound design 33EMYBW and Gooooose produced for the exhibition as well as new tracks inspired by, and sampling, the installations.
Trans-Aeon Express will be released on a limited edition LP and digitally on 25 March. The release features new artwork by Weirdcore, who presents an update of the original Orient Flux emblem.
