The former Klaxons frontman has shared his latest single – and it features a guest appearance from a member of ABBA.

Empty Rooms is the second single from James Righton’s upcoming solo album Jim, I’m Still Here. The track features Benny Andersson from ABBA playing keys and marks Andersson’s first guest feature performance on a song.

The pair met when Righton was organising the live band for ABBA’s avatar stadium shows, which are set to take place in London from 27 May. Speaking on the collaboration Righton said, “He’s never done anything like this before. I nervously sent him the track and a couple of days later he sent back this keyboard line which was perfect.”

The new album also sees Righton collaborate with Soulwax – aka David and Stephen Dewaele – who contribute to the record’s production. The Klaxons singer is also set to perform at ABBA’s upcoming London shows.
