West previewed a new song created alongside James Blake at an event in London.
It seems Kanye West and James Blake have been in the studio together. Last night (26 September), the Donda artist stepped behind the decks at a London Fashion Week event to preview a new music. A fan account shared a clip of West teasing a track on Twitter, claiming that it featured a sample of James Blake’s song Always – lifted from his 2017 album The Colour in Anything. Blake himself responded to the post, explaining that it was a new song from the pair and not a sample.
Doesn’t sample ‘always’. It’s new. https://t.co/UdqtPfJdLD

He then added that the track previewed was one of three collaborations between the artists, and that he had produced the songs. In a later tweet, Blake wrote: “It’s my birthday and [Kanye West] is playing tracks we made, I’m good for presents thanks.” [sic]
