Finding a new home in Berlin’s Akademie der Künste, the event will take place this Saturday (29 April).
The Kiezsalon grand opening will kickstart the event series’ 2023 programme of avant-garde and interdisciplinary art and music. Featuring four Berlin premieres, the bill includes performances from Bristol-based Livity Sound affiliate Surgeons Girl and experimental artist Nik Colk Void. Also set to perform is Brussels-based Spanish artist Yamila, and Chinese/Taiwanese-American musician Audrey Chen and electroacoustic artist Kaffe Matthews who – in a world premiere – will share their new joint project Breathing air as dark swallows.
