The Berlin-based artist and producer has released her cover of Chicane’s 1999 trance hit as a teaser to her forthcoming album.

Courtesy is releasing her debut album this autumn. Entitled fra eufori – Danish for “from euphoria” – the project’s lead single has been released today (25 May) prior to its release on 12 September via Courtesy’s own Kulør label. The single is a cover of the 1999 trance classic by Chicane and sees the Danish artist collaborating with Lyra Pramuk. The likes of Erika de Casier, Merely and August Rosenbaum will also guest on the upcoming eight-track release.

A number more re-interpretations can be found on the album, including versions of Olive’s You’re Not Alone and Madonna’s What It Feels Like for a Girl.

Courtesy’s most recent EP, Violence of the Moodboard, landed in April 2023. It served as the follow-up to her production debut Night Journeys, shared in March of last year.
