Norwegian duo Karpe to embark on UK tour this month

The UK shows form part of a run of European dates with their Omar Sheriff musical project.

Norwegian rap duo Karpe are heading to the UK. Beginning in Bristol on Sunday (7 May), the pair – real names Chirag Rashmikant Patel and Magdi Omar – will play shows in Glasgow, Manchester and London with a stop in Dublin also confirmed for Monday (8 May). 

The tour will see them performing as Omar Sheriff – a joint artist project launched back in 2022 with a self-titled EP. They’ll be joined on the road by Quickstyle, the Norwegian dance crew who previously hit the stage with Karpe during a hometown residency that took place last summer, with Karpe playing a 10-night run at Oslo’s Spektrum arena.

The upcoming tour, dubbed the Diaspora Dreams tour, land amid of a wider series of shows that have taken the pair to Madrid and Lausanne, with more dates lined up across cities such as Budapest and Cologne.
