It takes place on Saturday (8 July) at Bristol’s the Christmas Steps.
Bitch, Please! are hosting a Pride party in Bristol this weekend. The crew will return to the Christmas Steps for the day-to-night affair, following on from a Pride event held at the pub and music venue last year.
Dubbed the Bitch, Pride! Bloc Party, the event will be spread across two stages, hosting residents and party regulars, as well as new faces. Virginia and Suze Ijó are among the names set to make their Bitch, Please! debuts. Elsewhere, the likes of A for Alpha, Daisy Moon and and No Strings are confirmed. There will also be a vogue workshop hosted by Bristol Ballroom Community.
On the non-music tip, a number of artists will be at the Steps on the day painting a mural throughout the afternoon. This artwork is due to be auctioned off at a later date, with the money raised due to be donated to local LGBTQ+ charities. Party-goers will also have the option to donate to the party’s chosen charities – Bristol Refugee Rights and Mind Out – upon entry to the event.
Tickets are on sale here. A small number of tickets will be available to purchase on the day via a first-come, first-serve basis. The event will run from 12pm to 10pm.
