Ezra Collective to headline Made Strong London with Dr. Martens in Peckham

Dr. Martens has announced a one-day takeover of Copeland Park on 21 October, headlined by Ezra Collective.

The Made Strong event, which takes place in Peckham, is set to shine a spotlight on a rich vein of London’s cultural underground with a day of live performances, workshops, interactive art and talks. Joining the recent Mercury Prize winners will be Nigerian-born, London-based pop starlet Chi Virgo, west London producer p-rallel and Nayana B, winner of Dr. Martens Made Strong TikTok competition.

The programme will also include street art and abstract expressionist Slawn and Reuben Dangoor, an artist whose work is influenced by current affairs and whose subjects include Stormzy and Skepta. Elsewhere, multidisciplinary skate crew Motherlan will take over Copeland Park’s skate ramp and contemporary culture magazine Original Shift will helm a series of zine-making workshops, talks and a unique photography project.

Finally, Tayler Prince-Fraser of Shift will be gathering a group of creatives from in and around London for a conversation on the subject of strength as seen through the lens of their respective mediums, while George Vicary, also of Shift, will invite participants to create a mixed media piece exploring ‘Strength through play’.

The Made Strong event takes place on Saturday, 21 October and is free to attend. Head here to sign up for tickets.
