FAUZIA and Maddie Ashman to present new work, Ethers, at King’s Place

The event takes place this weekend on 15 October.

FAUZIA is debuting a new commission with bandmate and collaborator Maddie Ashman at King’s Place. The piece, entitled Ethers, is composed for a vocal ensemble, piano, cello, guitar and wind instruments and the performance will be in the round in spatial audio on 28 speakers.

The d&b Soundscape set will also feature projected visuals from Clemente Löhr and Toby Elwes. The work by FAUZIA and Ashman explores the unified experience of letting go and shedding limiting beliefs, drawing together classical and electronic elements. The premiere this coming weekend will be an intimate, spatialized live show and the performance will begin at 4pm. Head here for tickets.
