The influential emo band will play their self-titled debut in full to mark the record’s 25th anniversary.
Today, Outbreak Fest has announced American Football as its Sunday headliner. The seminal group top the bill alongside Action Bronson and Basement, who are slated to headline the Friday and Saturday of the festival respectively.
American Football’s performance will form part of their anniversary tour celebrations, marking 25 years since their self-titled debut was released. This year’s Outbreak Fest will also see The Hotelier commemorate a decade since Home, Like Noplace Is There was released and likewise Joyce Manor will celebrate their 2014 release Never Hungover Again. Additionally, on the anniversaries tip Nothing will mark 10 years of Guilty of Everything and Thursday are set to perform tracks from their albums War All The Time and Full Collapse.
Other artists confirmed to play the event in Manchester – which takes place at Bowlers Exhibition Centre from 28-30 June – include Mannequin Pussy, Soccer Mommy, Show Me The Body, Ceremony, Chat Pile, Perp Walk and Angel Du$t, the latter of which features members of Turnstile and Trapped Under Ice.
