There’s a new album from Jlin set for release in March.

Entitled Akoma, the 11-track release leads with closing cut The Precision of Infinity, which features Philip Glass. Björk and Kronos Quartet feature elsewhere on the record. Akoma serves as a full-length follow-up to 2017’s Black Origami. The Embryo EP and Perspective mini-album – a collaboration with Third Coast Percussion – landed in December 2021 and September 2023, respectively.

The forthcoming album has been described as an “entry point into her sound and a new approach for both those who have been following diligently and those who are just now entering her world” in its press notes.

Stream the new single below and read our The Click feature with Jlin, in which she discusses self-affirmation and pushing through creative roadblocks.
