GALA Festival will host DJ EZ at an exclusive gig this week in Peckham

UK garage legend DJ EZ is gearing up for an intimate three-hour performance at The Greyhound pub in Peckham, with proceeds going to the Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers

Scheduled for Thursday 2 May, this one-off event precedes DJ EZ‘s highly anticipated appearance at GALA Festival in Peckham Rye Park on Friday 24 May, marking a rare chance for fans to catch the artist in a more intimate setting before his festival headline. Supporting EZ on the night are London-based DJs Lola So and Ell Murphy.

The Greyhound, a cherished pub in Peckham, was reopened and reimagined in March 2024 by the same team behind The Cause and All My Friends, promising a vibrant atmosphere for EZ’s performance.

With a highly limited number of tickets, this exclusive night is made especially meaningful with the donation of all proceeds to the Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers, underscoring the event’s community-focused ethos. This chosen charity is dedicated to supporting asylum seekers, refugees, and migrants in South London through various services promoting wellbeing, health, and education.

Tickets are available exclusively for registered individuals to be purchased from today, Tuesday 30 April at 10am, for £15 here.

Meanwhile, GALA Festival is set to return to Peckham Rye Park across the late May Bank Holiday Weekend, continuing to provide a celebration of the authentic, soulful sounds that formed the foundations of dance music.
