The French festival returns with its most expansive line-up yet for its 8th edition, taking place from 14-16 November.

Taking over the Parc des Expositions de Saint-Etienne – a brand new venue for the festival – Positive Education will return this year with an expansive programme bringing together the most avant-garde names shaping the future of electronic music. Creating a space where boundary-pushing artists can experiment with their sets, audiences often witness one-off, novel musical experiences.

While staying true to its roots and experimental values, this year Positive Education is extending its horizons with an ambitious and varied line-up. Artists like Lala &ce, Oklou, The Bug and Flowdan will bring new musical genres to Positive Education’s world, while leading DJs like Bitter Babe and electronic frontrunners including HiTech and Overmono will play. EBM, industrial techno and new wave are at the forefront of its offering, which also encompasses drum’n’bass and techno well as downtempo, acid, broken beats, and more experimental sounds.

Programmed by DJs Charles Di Falco and Antoine Hernandez, the festival has retained an intimate feel as it’s grown (last year they pulled in 15,000 festival goers), with many of their bookings happening through genuine friendships and real-life connections.

Putting visuals centre stage this year, Positive Education will also work closely with scenographers from Matière Noire, a Parisian design studio.
