Acts of Faith features just one 32-minute long track.

On Saturday (6 July) evening, mysterious UK band SAULT released a surprise album via a free-to-download WeTransfer link.

Titled Acts of Faith, it comes as a single 32 minute long .wav file via their label Forever Living Originals, and is produced by their producer and presumed bandleader Inflo (aka Dean Josiah Cover). The link expires tomorrow (7 July).

The band announced the release via their social media channels, accompanied by a picture of a retro box television showing an image of a nighttime cityscape with ‘Acts of Faith’ layered over it.

It appears to be a reference to an installation at the band’s first ever live show, which took place at London’s Drumsheds on December 14, 2023. One user on Instagram, who apparently was in attendance, wrote: “For those unlucky not to attend, this is a picture from the first room we walked in at the London live show. It was set up as an apartment with a disgruntled couple living in it, we had to walk through the fridge to get [to] the tunnel.”

Acts of Faith is the band’s 12th full length LP, having released five albums – 5, 7, Untitled (Black Is), Untitled (Rise) and Nine – between 2019 and 2021. In 2022, following their instrumental album AIR, they simultaneously dropped five more LPs – 11, Aiir, Earth, Today & Tomorrow and Untitled (God) – via a password protected link.

SAULT’s band line-up has never officially been announced, it is assumed to be led by Inflo, with singer Cleo Sol believed to be a vocalist.
