The newly uploaded film is part of Le Guess Who?’s ongoing expansion of its archive, with over 100 recordings now available to watch for free online.
Slauson Malone 1’s set at TivoliVredenburg’s Pandora on Thursday, 9 November 2023, performed as part of last year’s edition of Le Guess Who?, is now available to stream online. Joined by on stage by cellist Nicky Wetherell, the artist and festival curator — real name Jasper Marsalis — delivered a moving and memorable performance that fans can now experience (or re-experience) for free.
Known for its progressive outlook, the festival is expanding its archive of performances from past editions, which currently contains recordings from the likes of African Head Charge, Neneh Cherry and Arooj Aftab, as well as one-off moments such as Saul Williams and King Britt present Unanimous Goldmine and AEAEA, the live premiere of a collaboration between Nicolas Jaar and Patrick Higgins.
