This autumn’s schedule includes live music, podcast recordings, comedy and drag performers.
Over the coming months, the Royal Albert Hall will continue its autumn programme, hosting a range of artists and live experiences in its 200-capacity Elgar Room.
Having already brought the likes of Sounds Queer, folk singer Hana Stretton and a live recording of new podcast series Immigrant Island Dubplates to the stage this season, the schedule includes everything from trio Flight Call (as part of the Hall’s Late Night Jazz series), to a Kate Butch-hosted drag brunch, Drag RoyalTea.
Amongst the highlights, after the success of his sold-out debut performance at the Hall last February, pianist David Kofi will return on Thursday 24 October with his distinctive blend of gospel and jazz. Rising rapper and singer Emmeline will follow on Wednesday 6 November with a new show featuring tracks from her upcoming project, with support from Campbell King.
Elsewhere on the programme, artist and activist Amahla will perform on Wednesday 20 November as part of a debut UK tour promoting her latest EP, Ooooh Honey!, while the annual London Jazz Festival will return to the Elgar Room the next day with four musicians from 2024’s Take Five talent development programme.
