Highlights on the programme include the Sherelle-curated SHERELLELAND, featuring Sexy Lady Massive, which will take place on 11 April, and Nine Earths by D-Fuse – an immersive artwork exploring the relationship between ordinary lives and humanity’s excessive demand for the Earth’s resources, which will be shown from 3-5 April.

New events on sale also include a night by London ballroom collective Vogue Rites, who will take over the Roundhouse for a celebration of ball culture and community with Vogue Rites: Face the Music Ball on 9 April.

In the world of film, on 27 April the Roundhouse will host a screening titled New Visions, curated from the archive of the Roundhouse Film Fund – an initiative that works across commissioning, production and distribution, and aims to nurture the careers of young filmmakers. Inspired by bell hooks’ All About Love: New Visions, it will celebrates different forms of love, from self-love to romantic to communal love. The screening will be followed by a conversation with artist and filmmaker Myah Asha Jeffers, who will also show her short film There is No Healing in Silence, inspired by hooks’ Belonging: A Culture of Place.

Theatre events include a Sonder(s) from 9-12 April – the debut production from Roundhouse Associate Artistic Director Daniel Kaluuya’s Centre 59 youth theatre company, which seeks to create an accessible entry point for young people to tell their stories though theatre and performing arts.

Other events on the line-up include Love to Love You Baby: Donna Summer Reimagined – a party to celebrate 50 years of Summer’s second album on 10 April – and Jack Rooke’s Show Hole on 12 April.
