The new rent-to-own plan allows customers to significantly reduce the upfront cost of Ableton’s fully-featured music production software.
Music software company Ableton have announced an all-new rent-to-own plan for Ableton Live 12 Suite. Customers can spread the cost of the music production software to significantly decrease the upfront cost, and unlike other subscription services, own the license in full after all payments have been made.
Through the Ableton webshop, users will be able to spread the regular cost of the software over 24 monthly instalments for Live 12 Suite licenses and 12 monthly instalments for Live 12 Suite EDU licenses, with no extra charges.
The rent-to-own plan can be paused at any time without incurring any additional charges. Users will retain access to the software until the end of the current billing cycle, and the remaining balance can be paid off at any time. If a new version of the software is released while a user’s rent-to-own plan is still active, they’ll have the option to extend the amount of monthly payments to cover the cost of the upgrade.
