The festival returns to Milan from 20-23 November with the theme ‘City Echoes’.
Over four days in Milan, venues Alcatraz, Basic Village, Mogo Hi-Fi, and, for the first time, ADI Design Museum, are set to host a range of musical performances, workshops, club nights, and immersive activities.
Previously taking place at the art and design museum Triennale di Milano, Polifonic will now take over the -1 hall of the prestigious ADI Design Museum – a move that reflects Polifonic’s goal to pursue singular locations that amplify the festival’s sensory and visual identity.
The venue is set to host an Ableton workshop with producers Flore and Piezo, as well as a short documentary titled New Ghost, presented by NR Magazine and directed by Johannes Haeussler, which will explore the roots and culture of Chicago footwork.
Among the music highlights are headline shows at Milan club and venue Alcatraz from Spanish DJ and producer John Talabot, and an Italian exclusive performance of DEX EFX X0X from electronic artist Richie Hawtin.
Other highlights include sets from Flore b2b Piezo, e/tape, Franesco Del Garda, Mun Sing, Sister Effect, and Or:la, as well as a listening session with Nicola Mazzetti, and a live painting performance from Conxi Sane.
