The Brussels-based festival unveils nearly 50 artists for this year’s edition, with curated programmes by Keeley Forsyth, Ichiko Aoba and Stephen O’Malley.
BRDCST has announced the complete programme for its 2026 edition, which will run from Friday, 3 April to Monday, 6 April in Brussels. Events will take place at venues including Ancienne Belgique, Cinema Palace and the Vanhaerents Art Collection.
Three guest curators each present a full evening of programming.
For her first time acting as a festival curator, Ichiko Aoba curates a night that includes Japanese band GEZAN, Icelandic musician JFDR and Paris-based guitarist Julien Desprez, while Keeley Forsyth’s programme spotlights artists like Rainy Miller. The third curated evening is led by Stephen O’Malley, who will present a programme under the banner of Ideologic Organ, the label he founded. The selection coincides with the label’s 15th anniversary and includes performances by cellist Lucy Railton and American composer Timothy Archambault.
During BRDCST 2026, Ancienne Belgique will temporarily open two new spaces ahead of its full reopening planned for autumn 2026. The upgraded AB Salon and the newly developed AB Antenna will host performances by artists including Icelandic theremin player Hekla, Galician bagpiper Carme López, Irish violinist Ultan O’Brien and Belgium’s Klinck Trio. Additional projects include a collaboration between Joseph Branciforte and Jozef Dumoulin, a morning concert by pianist Frederik Croene and a midnight performance by tuba player Berlinde Deman. At AB Antenna, pianist Grégoire Gerstmans will present headphone concerts across three consecutive days.
The Vanhaerents Art Collection will again host concerts during the festival, alongside access to works by artists including Damien Hirst, Antony Gormley, David Hockney, Jeff Koons and Paul McCarthy. Programming there includes a Stephen O’Malley–curated evening on Saturday, 4 April, followed on Sunday, 5 April by performances from South Korean composer Park Jiha, Iranian-Kurdish tanbur player Mohammad Mostafa Heydarian, and more.
BRDCST has also announced a five-day residency for Fenne Kuppens, known for her work with Whispering Sons. She will develop new solo material during the residency and present the results during the festival.
Other acts on the programme include james K, Nihiloxica, DJ Haram, The Bug vs Ghost Dubs, Lord Spikeheart, and Los Thuthanaka, who will close the 2026 edition of the festival.
