The European showcase marks its 40th edition in 2026, returning to Groningen from 14–17 January.
Each January, ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) transforms the Northern Netherlands’ Groningen into a meeting point for artists, audiences and music industry professionals.
This year, festival and conference has unveiled a substantial new wave of talent, revealing over 100 additional acts set to perform at this year’s event. With this announcement, the total number of confirmed Eurosonic and Noorderslag artists rises to 218, spotlighting emerging voices from across Europe.

While previous editions placed the spotlight on individual focus countries, ESNS now embraces a broader perspective through its Europe Calling manifesto. The expanded programme brings together performers from 36 different countries and a wide spectrum of genres, capturing a cross-section of Europe’s most compelling new artists.
