The Bug, Scientist, Introspekt, Tash LC and more will perform during a nonstop 24-hour dub session in Utrecht this November.
Le Guess Who? has revealed details for 24 HOUR DUB, a new continuous 24-hour programme taking place during the festival’s 20th anniversary edition in Utrecht from 7–8 November.
Held at KABUL à GoGo, the event will run from 4pm on Saturday through to 4pm on Sunday, bringing together artists, DJs, poets and producers connected to dub music and bass culture from around the world.
The line-up includes Aba Shanti-I, Mutabaruka, CARISTA, Tash LC, Introspekt, Greentea Peng performing as Greentea Selecta, The Bug feat. Warrior Queen, The Bug vs Ghost Dubs, and more.
Scientist will perform material from his 1981 album Scientist Rids the World of the Evil Curse of The Vampires, while Mad Professor is set to live mix trance-inducing polyrhythms from Nakibembe Embaire Group, and also appear with Sista Aisha.
The event is being presented in collaboration with PRESSURE by The Bug and Touching Bass. Krackfree Soundsystem will provide a custom-built sound system for the weekend.
