The free open-air festival takes over the Schlüter Courtyard across four weekends in July and August.
Durchlüften has announced its 2026 programme, returning to the Schlüter Courtyard of the Humboldt Forum in Berlin from 9 July to 1 August.
Across the four weekends, 24 live acts and 12 DJs will perform, with each evening featuring two concerts followed by a DJ set.
Inviting audiences on musical journeys across continents and borders, the programme spans electronic sounds from the Andes to Kurdish club rituals, Tanzanian vocal traditions, Anatolian-Nordic electronica, and more.
Among the highlights are Noura Mint Seymali, bringing griot-rooted desert blues from Mauritania, South African ensemble BCUC, and a honiunhoni label night featuring acclaimed musician Ustad Noor Bakhsh and classical vocalist Muslim Shaggan.
Elsewhere on the bill are Japan’s Seppuku Pistols, Peru’s Renata Flores, Danish/Turkish/Kurdish outfit AySay, Ecuador collective Humazapas, and Togolese collective Nana Benz du Togo.
The festival is curated by Melissa Perales alongside collaborations with Buenos Aires-based label ZZK Records and Karachi independent label honiunhoni.
