Incienso #4: Nikolajev

Anthony Naples & Jenny Slattery’s Incienso imprint returns with another dispatch from their extended family of artists.

Having helped found Lekker Bar in Tallinn, Nikolajev is one of Estonian club music’s favourite sons. Having released on labels across the world, from Montreal to Glasgow, his latest EP – the deliciously grubby LEL – touched down in New York courtesy of Incienso. His mix for the label’s residency conjures a similarly sleazy atmosphere, though often slips into a lo-fi euphoria. Heady stuff.
