The artists were among many taking part in the stream to remember victims and demand justice.

Stormzy and AJ Tracey were among the many guests to take part in yesterday’s Grenfell United live-stream. Commemorating the third anniversary of the Grenfell Tower fire, in which 72 people lost their lives, the stream welcomed musicians, journalists and many others to talk about the tragic event and pay tribute to the victims of the fire.

The stream also saw artists lend their voice to the campaign to get justice for the victims of the fire and former residents who have yet to be rehomed three years later. Stormzy called the fire and subsequent lack of consequences for those deemed responsible as a “dark stain on British society.” Meanwhile, Adele took part in the Grenfell United remembrance broadcast on YouTube last night.

Three years since the Grenfell fire, seven families who lost their homes have yet to be permanently rehoused and 50,000 people across the UK live in buildings with flammable cladding.
