Kano, Charli XCX, Dua Lipa and Stormzy nominated for Mercury Prize Award

The Mercury Prize nominees for Albums of the Year have been revealed.

Former Crack Magazine cover star Kano is shortlisted for his 2019 LP Hoodies All Summer. Charli XCX appears on the list for her quarantine album how i’m feeling now, alongside superstar Dua Lipa, rapper Stormzy, jazz stalwart Moses Boyd and composer Anna Meredith.

The shortlist was selected by the award’s judges. This year’s panel includes Anna Calvi, Jorja Smith, Annie Mac and more. The ceremony will take place at Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith, on 10 September.
