As a member of Poland’s Oramics collective (named after synth pioneer Daphne Oram), a group committed to platforming and supporting the country’s women, non-binary and queer communities – the work of figures like Monster has become even more vital in recent months.
Last summer’s epic 120 track TOTAL SOLIDARITY compilation was an emblem of this manifesto, uniting a global cast of artists to contribute to a fundraiser for grassroots LGBTQIA+ organisations. More recently, Oramics have been exploring funding and resource options to empower localises queer communities across the country as they continue to fight against anti-gay propaganda.
For her debut Crack Mix, Monster mixes pacy pop edits with infectious club selections – all stitched together with velocity and urgency.
