The former Crack Magazine cover star has released the new video urban hymns.
urban hymns features the two tracks MUGU – taken from his recently-released LP Black Metal 2 – and the A$AP Rocky collaboration STOOZY. The musician also appears in the lo-fi visual, and can be seen smoking blunts and strumming a guitar in the back of a Range Rover, while two people – whose faces are blurred out – stop at an ATM to withdraw cash. The car is also littered with the packaging for Apple iPhones and a laptop.
It follows the trio on a night-time journey, with the footage stitched together in a collaged style. In typical Dean Blunt fashion, not much has been said about the video but the YouTube caption tells viewers to “play with speakers” [sic]. Watch the video below.
Blunt released STOOZY in April this year, and Black Metal 2 in June.
