Prospa make music for buzzing dancefloors. The Leeds-born, London-based duo nailed their euphoric, big-room sound – a sweat-inducing cocktail of breaks, 90s house and rave – early on, dropping hits such as Prayer and Intended via Stress Records and SubSoul Recordings respectively.
Fast forward to 2022 and the pair spent the last few months playing “some of [their] best club shows” to date at venues such as Cabaret Voltaire in Edinburgh, Hide in Christchurch and Printworks – where they performed a live show as part of AVA London. Here, they transport us to the front of any one of their sets; the vibes are high and selections are slamming.
“This mix encapsulates the energy of those shows,” state the duo, who’ll jet across the Irish sea to play at AVA’s Belfast outing next month. “This is us flowing at our best. We wanted to deliver something super high-energy and with good contrast between the darker sounds and brighter endings. Enjoy!”
