The micro-festival returns to Hackney on Saturday, 27 September, with live performances across three venues.
Soundhood Hackney, the flagship event from SON Estrella Galicia, is back for 2025 with its biggest edition yet. Taking place on Saturday, 27 September from 5pm onwards, the event will be held across three east London venues – Oslo, Sebright Arms, and Paper Dress Vintage.
This year’s programme features a mix of UK, Irish and Spanish talent. Irish five-piece Gurriers will headline Oslo with support from rising Welsh act MORN, while London post-punk band Folly Group lead the bill at Sebright Arms with Spanish artist Yawners in support. Over at Paper Dress Vintage, Liverpool-based electronic rock group Courting will headline, joined by Spanish tontipop band Amor Líquido.
In addition to the live shows, festivalgoers can enjoy DJ sets, music showcases, and two exclusive beer experiences: Beer Backstage at Sebright Arms (5:45pm) and Beer & Beats at Paper Dress Vintage (7pm).
Since launching in 2009, SON Estrella Galicia – the musical arm of the Spanish beer brand – has focused on creating immersive music and beer experiences around the world. In Hackney, the brand has supported grassroots venues and emerging artists for three years, with 2025 marking its most ambitious UK event to date.
