Love Saves The Day announces new location for 2015

The Bristol festival will relocate in 2015

It’s been announced that Bristol’s Love Saves The Day festival will take place in the new location of Eastville Park on 23 and 24 May this year. Since launching in 2012, the highly popular dance-orientated event has previously been situated at Castle Park in the city’s centre. According to a press release, last year LSTD sold 12,000 tickets for both days, and the festival will utlilise a larger space while only expanding capacity slightly.

“We’ve had a fantastic three years at Castle Park,” the festival’s director Tom Paine said in a statement. “Since we started in 2012, Love Saves The Day has grown in numbers, scale and ambition every year and we want to continue developing the event into the future.”

“We want to add new venues and develop the non-musical elements of the festival, and whilst this requires a larger space, our emphasis is very much on making the event better, in every single way, instead of just bigger.” A statement has also been posted on the event’s Facebook page.

Last year, Love Saves The Day’s line-up included the likes of Nina Kraviz, Todd Terje and Jamie xx, while Livity Sound, John Talabot and Chicago footwork duo DJ Spinn and Taso played on the Crack Magazine stage. For tickets and more info about the festival, head over to their website.
