The designer’s AW16 campaign already features Throbbing Gristle founder Genesis P-Orridge and hip-hop legend Missy Elliott
Marc Jacobs’ has revealed this morning that three more musicians are joining his latest AW campaign. Marilyn Manson, Courtney Love and St Vincent have all signed up to star in the designer’s latest set of ads. He announced earlier this week that Throbbing Gristle founder Genesis P-Orridge and hip-hop legend Missy Elliott would also be taking key roles in the campaign.
In a series of Instagram posts this morning Jacobs’ shared the David Sims-shot photos, which see the musicians dressed in his recent cuts. “There’s a certain maturity that’s inherent in Annie that transcends her age” He says of St Vincent’s Annie Clark before calling Love the “Ultimate divine mess in a dress”. He also notes that he chose Marilyn Manson for his “Instinctive, inherent intelligence and understanding of what matters.”
