Arca announces self-titled album

Arca is back!

The producer just announced a self-titled album to be released via XL Recordings on 7 April.

The LP is self-titled and Arca announced it by sharing the artwork (designed by longtime creative partner Jesse Kanda) and a track from the LP.

In a press release, Arca discussed the record, saying “Here’s my voice and all my guts: feel free to judge it. It’s like a bullfight: you’re watching emotional violence for pleasure. So this is a character who, almost as a mockery of the transaction, goes uncomfortably deep, into self-mutilation. ‘You want gore? Here’s gore’”

He’s also announced a huge headline show at London’s Roundhouse for 28 April which you can find out about here.
