Alejandro Ghersi – better known by the moniker Arca – has released a new track and clip today from his forthcoming self-titled album.
The video – directed by longtime collaborator Jesse Kanda – begins with Ghersi caressing a naked body and laying down some mournful vocals to eerie, soft piano notes. Dressed in a corset with a pearl-studded crotch, the musician dances in a dark room with near-nude bodies strewn on the floor.
The upcoming album will be the first record featuring Ghersi’s voice, which he’s previously stated was encouraged by Björk. Thus far, he’s shared Piel and Sin Rumbo from his new body of work.
