As another year draws to a close, we’re taking stock of the months gone by through a collection of mixes crafted by some of our favourite artists, featuring music they’ve discovered or enjoyed in 2023.
This year saw prolific producer Gavsborg take his sound in new directions. From the launch of his cassette tape label, Cassette Blair, to the release of his debut vocal album as unkle G, it’s been a period of exploration and new creative energy for the Equiknoxx co-founder, who uses his mix to spotlight a slew of peers and pals.
“I love being blessed with new music, and 2023 has given me an abundance of that. I selected a handful of tunes from this year’s new music finding,” Gavsborg tells us. “Kush Jones, Chunky, Samory I and more have all made an upful impact on me this year.”
