Crack Mix 458:
Amaliah

Techno House Tech House Electro

London DJ and producer Amaliah has been gathering momentum for some time now thanks to her buoyant selections and infectiously positive energy.

She brings this energy to all that she does, be it her radio appearances or club and festival sets at the likes of Brilliant Corners, Corsica Studios and We Out Here. We would be remiss not to also mention the sweet-sounding and rapidly evolving Borne Fruits event collective turned label Amaliah heads up too.

Amaliah’s Crack Mix is typical of her approach in the dance: a zesty, club-centric set loaded with rolling tech house, eyes-down stompers and stacks of kinetic energy. “For this mix, I decided to try to take people on a journey with me and build momentum slowly from start to finish,” she tells us.

Continuing, she adds: “It’s euphoric, bendy and is made up of all the great new music I’ve found or been sent [recently]. I tried to emulate what I would play at a festival as the day moves into night, with the sounds slowly becoming darker, sexier and trippier as the mix goes on.”

Amaliah plays We Out Here, Abbots Ripton, on 25-28 August
