As the head honcho of Bristol’s long-running, ever-present Club Blanco party, Chez de Milo has been responsible for many of the city’s most memorable knees ups over the past six years. He’s also a quality DJ too, with a record bag stacked with vintage grooves, oddball chugs and fresh heat. The city stalwart shows us how he does it with an extended 140-minute session that moves through galaxial techno grooves, retro trance cuts and Villalobos-esque, scatty minimal, before building gradually to peak time floor shakers. Strap in.
Who: Chez de Milo.
What: Super mega transcendence.
Where: Bristol, UK. Was recorded behind closed doors at The Love Inn in Stokes Croft.
When: Late night, going into the morning, which happens to be when I enjoy myself most.
Why: Being able to present music and connect with people through the music is the most beautiful thing.
