This mix, originally commissioned to coincide with the anniversary of Gasolina’s release on 3 June, is by London DJ and Daddy Yankee stan Manuka Honey, whose Latinx-centred style owes much to his legacy.
“In this mix I tried to cover every DY base,” she told us. “He’s such an amazingly versatile artist who has been defining reggaeton and Latinx urban music for the last 18 years. It was a pleasure and honour to create this mix. I hope people use it to perrear [wherever they] listen.”
